The oil looks black right after you change it in the poor ole Probe(there`s no telling what that car went through before I got ahold of it). My Z has only 55k miles. You can look into the oil fill area with a flashlight and the engine is so shiny,polished,and clean,you could almost eat off of it. I change it every 2k miles and it`s still amber when it drains. One of the main reasons we use synthetics is because of its ability to cling to the internal parts,and not run off giving you a dry start. Good to see another fellow Texas native on here! Where`s Karnes County?
